Tedronai Media Empire Stockholder's Report Q4'06
Well, it's that time of year. A time when the warm weather creeps in, plants start to bloom, and young men and women's fancies turn to dry and deliberately misleading stockholder reports. That's right. The time has arrived for the Q4 2006 edition of the Tedronai Media Empire's shareholder briefing. Sit tight. As you know, the last twelve fiscal quarters haven't been ideal for our company. Analysts refer to our earnings as being "in the red," a state for a corporation sometimes known as "the building's on fire and full of kidnapped children." Auditors, misdealings, faulty equipment, sending via the shipping company FedEcks (which turns out not to exist, and was simply throwing our items into a dumpster twelve buildings over)... we had a whole variety of financial difficulties and snafus. But actually, for the first time in our company's history, things are looking pretty good. For once calling Q4 the Golden Quarter isn't an ironic reference to the colour of urine but rather true gold, the valuable metal. Things were looking fairly grim, with an estimated zero units sold during the first two months of the quarter including the all important Christmas season. The last month, however, exceeded expectations when Pete in accounting managed to lure an armored car into our parking lot with promises of a free wash. Once the drivers were subdued we walked away with several hundred million in tax-free income. Huzzah! On a reassuringly unrelated note we're throwing our hat into the hufu market (perhaps a bit postmaturely, to be honest) with two delicious samplings- chubby middle aged white guy and zesty young asian dude. Supplies are limited. Finally I sold the late Michael Despot's science fiction manuscript The Emperance Vengengenor: Aeons and Aeons of Blast Blaminosionasions for a cool half a million. Spielberg describes the film as combining The Phantom Menace's effortless success and 1980's Flash Gordon's class and depth, and frankly I couldn't agree more. So things are looking up.
