Yeah.. I kind of stole this from Socko, but I will change it just enough to not be sued!

I've just discovered that Linkin Park is releasing a new album in May after 14 months of pain stakingly depriving us of new material. That got me a-thinking. What about Fort Minor? Sure I liked some songs, like 'Slip Out The Back', 'In Stereo' and 'Red to Black' but the vast majority of the album was rap. You know what they say about rap, it's crap.

So, I am thinking back further, to Reanimation. Without doing all the funky symbol writting, I liked 'Cure For The Itch', 'With You', 'Crawling' and 'By Myself'. But there was that element of rap with 'In The End'; the remix effectively killed the song for me.

My absolute favourites are 'Faint' where the music video just amazed me, along with the amazingly instrumental "Cure For The Itch' and 'From The Inside'.

I see a increasing focus on rap and less on the hybrid-rock they had before. I don't like it. I'm happy they got a new album, and I hope it's what they used to do, but I'm also slightly... umm, not looking forward to it.
